absolutely filthy plane in F

the short story: flight in F today, board and it's absolutely filthy. i fly with AA at least twice monthly, many times more in busy seasons. i've seen a lot of their planes in the last 2 years of heavy travel exclusively via AA, and this is by far the worst, regardless of class.

i understand the challenges of turning over a flight quickly on a tight schedule, but i think basic cleanliness is to be expected, aircraft-wide.

first, the blanket -- which i understand that they're reused and tend not to be fresh -- had visible vomit/sauce/mucus all over it. when i asked the FA for a replacement, was brushed off (and to her credit, she was busy preparing for service on a fairly short flight as it was, but still -- filthy and disgusting).

the floor was covered with some kind of nuts/snack garbage. it was all around my row. getting it on my laptop bag was unavoidable.

there was a fair amount of green vegetable-looking garbage also scattered on the floor between my row and the row in front. again, was removing fragments of this crap from my bag later.

as a final straw, it looked as if someone had both sneezed and coughed mucus and some type of sticky liquid all over the seat back. totally disgusting.

i (discreetly) addressed my concerns to the FA during the flight after drink service, and was brushed off.

like i said, i understand the challenges that a flight crew deals with in turning over flights, but i felt this was unacceptable. i don't appreciate the waste of stickers to sit in garbage.

i would like to get this issue addressed by AA -- is it worthwhile to email via the feedback form? i'm not after compensation, just their word that such issues will get looked into.
