I love cooking on the road, there are times I'll stay a homewood just to cook something. If I'm traveling on my own, I'm so much more comfortable cooking up a meal then finding a place and eating alone.

Steak, chicken, pasta, sauce, shrimp, whatever is on sale and decent looking at the grocery store. As a plus, the leftovers will make a good lunch the next day (or dinner again)

It's also great if I'm heading out too early for the breakfast, egg beaters or eggs (depending on the price), some veggies, etc makes a great omlette.
