I was trying to book a ticket to Ft.Lauderdale (FLL) from India some days back, and tried LH first. The only connections I could get had US airways segments in there with LH numbers (for example LH MAA-FRA, US with LH codeshare FRA-CLT and CLT-FLL)

Tried booking online, no dice - "this fare is not available online"

Called the LH call center in MAA and got "we dont interline with US any longer, we cant book flights with US numbers for you, if a US flight has a UA codeshare number, sure we can book that flight"

Given that (besides the no interlining) I decided to fly this on on AF/DL, but anyway, worth posting on FT I'd think .. this is the first I've heard of this.
