I don't get it. Last week I started searching for award travel for a trip we're planning to South America next spring. I was able to search for ATL-LIM award flights, as well as price those same flights as if I was going to just pay cash for them. Continental.com had no problem finding these flights. Now when I go back tonight and try to search for anything to LIM, I get a variety of error messages stating that neither CO nor its partners serve LIM (not true), there are no award seats available on my dates (can't be true; I'm a Platinum and the flights aren't sold out according to KVS, so I should be at least able to see EasyPass awards), or even stranger, that LIM is an airport code that doesn't exist. What gives?
To add to this mystery, KVS is also having trouble when I use the SkyTeam awards search function for any itinerary involving LIM. But it works for just about any other city pair I can think of.
Are CO and SkyTeam conspiring to prevent us from going to Peru???
