I found a 2008 Highlander with CA plates and 25K on the odometer in SEA this past weekend and pretty much share the opinions of the reviews above, right down to the boomy, muddy stereo. The third row seating came in handy and overall driving manners were quite good. I think I got about 22 mpg in mixed city/highway driving. I didn't check the spedometer against my GPS, though.
