I don't really see the point. since you're bringing hot food, I assume you want to eat it when it is still hot. this would mean you would find your seat, sit down and eat your burger before take-off. might as well eat it before you board the plane as a courtesy to those seated next to you.

now, it would be different if you would bring a box of mc nuggets to share with the people in your row..
