I think you may be confused, as MAD is a brand-new airport, with zero handling or any other problems I've experienced in my hundred-plus trips through the new terminals.

As far as IB sucking "in every possible way", I think you should provide evidence. Have you ever flown them? Maybe once, and your luggage was late? Or you misconnected? What?
