Is it true that AC releases more seats as the date gets closer? My brother is looking for a J seat from Anywhere in Can (yeg base) to LHR on Sept 12th.
I see from KVS that flights from Calgary and Toronto have lots of J room with I8. ANy chance some of these may open up as time approaches?

Thats easy. Yes and No. Yes as in ive seen it first hand, for example march break this year for florida was totally booked three months in advance then one week before I find plenty availability yul-fll, yyz-fll, yyz-mia. Or even more recently, the YYZ-PEK, YYZ-HKG, YYZ-PVG flights were totally booked for business class end of july (for redemption at classic levels of course) then when I checked on the 28th july I had 2 seats in J for all three destinations for the 29th of july and for some even on the 30th. So YES it happens but NO not all the time and not the routes, its rather impossible to predict. Hopes this helps.
