Why does BA take an hour longer than Thomas Cook?
Flying from LGW - PFO, the BA flight is a night time flight and the Thomas Cook flight is a daytime flight.

Thomas Cook scheduled time is 3.45hrs

BA scheduled time is 4.5hrs

Is it to take into account the fact that the plane will be parked at a gate where it shouldnt be for a change and hence we will have to take the bus tour of Gatwick?
