Yea, they actually do post it all over. The problem is that it's not really that noticable since it's a smaller sign with lots of text and it's usually blocked by people waiting in line or it's on the side facing the passenger waiting area.
Or, it's indecipherable and peeling from the counter itself, where many a nervous passenger has picked at it while awaiting word of their standby flight status or their upgrade.
