True - the upshot about LIN though is that it is so small that it takes about 1min from arrivals to the bus, and it's a pretty quick ride into the Stazione Centrale. Do this myself regularly.

It is true about fog diversions as noted above...but only in winter/cold autumn days. No problems during summer of course...
