If it is within 60 days and you have any written proof dispute it with your credit card company.
If it is not within 60 days usually you can still write a letter and get it resolved .
Call your credit Card provider and speak to a supervisor if it is out of 60 days for the rules.
Call consumer relations for your carrier or write for further verification.
If it is policy which I can not believe it is ask for it in writing.
The fact they never advised you of such a policy to begin with is pretty evident they have very little reason to withhold your funds in the first price.
