The satellite imagery being used of Roppongi Hills is approximately a year old as of today. Two significant construction aspects of the project added in the last 8-10 months are nowhere in evidence.

this blogger spotted the Google car in Feb 2008 around Osaka, so the data should be collected around that time. Osaka's scenary also appears to be in the dreary winter color. Tokyo's data appears to be warmer with more light, foliage and some salarymen went without their suit jackets.
