I have had BPs swiped and boarded the aircraft at least five times that I can recall where the flight eventually cancelled... three mainline flights that left the gate but never took off due to mechanical or ATC issues, a mainline flight that boarded but never left the gate due to a mechanical, and a Comair flight BOS-JFK that took off, circled Block Island for almost an hour and then returned to BOS after the NYC area shut down due to thunderstorms. None of those five flights ever resulted in MQMs.
