Reminds me, I turned down an ET to CE op-op. Front row C seat in ET to an E seat in the last row of Club. No thanks. Caused great consternation to the staff at PRG.
I was upgraded to an E seat in CE on a flight from MAD - LHR, when I had been allocated a nice aisle seat in ET.
On balance, the better food and drinks made the move worthwhile, even though I did not like the middle seat. Certainly, I would not have been overjoyed to have paid to sit there!!
