I'm in Israel Aug 19th to 29th and right now I've a rez with Budget, for a total of $430 including CDW. That's for the smallest car automatic.

Do you think I can get a better deal somewhere?

Also, I'm a very recent driver. I feel very comfortable pretty much everywhere (recently in LA, San Fran and Miami) but I haven't tried manhattan in rush hour.
I'm a little scared of how I'll do in Israel. I've been there several time, not driving though but I know I should expect the worst.

Any advice? Will I be better off with a manual? I learned to drive in France, so I'm good with a manual, but being a newbie, I've never have to face tough situation with a stick... thoughts? thanks guys!
