I've found the DBC vouchers to be pretty useful, particularly as they don't require a Saturday night stay it can save quite a bit. Another benefit is for tickets beyond a 30 day stay, like if you use it to send the kids off to college with months between the departure and return. Sure you don't get miles but hey, we got miles for the ticket we paid for.
