Excellent, well thought out reply, RASM Guy. All of us on this board can speculate, but as I said in my earlier post, we dont have the AS spreadsheets in front of us.

It makes sense that traffic is only hopping there for 4 months of the year during the nice golfing weather. Plus, another poster also made the good point that SFO is probably a better feeding point for Bandon Dunes excursions than PDX/SEA given that you can get to SFO nonstop from almost any major US market and many international ones too.

We will see if UAL can make it profitable.
