From reading the miles building posts on this CO board they best way to do it, is to somehow get the American Express 50,000 mile promotion, and tranfer the miles to CO before the one year cutoff to avoid the annual. And the same goes for the Chase World card, and their deal runs between 25,000 and 40,000 miles at different times of the year. Both of these cards have annual fees at the one year anniversary. This explains why these cards are best cards, with the best service in the industry for 364 days, but, on that 365th day, they become the card from hell with awful service, requiring immediate cancellation.
