Like many of you reading this, I received the 1K upgrade certificate with my MP Visa. Since most all of my flights are short hall, I'll never use it. I'd rather (somehow) have the cert expire and convert to miles, like normal e-certs. I need the miles! Can the cert be deposited, and will it then convert upon expiration?
