Here are the results for the
FT Wine Poll which was conducted over the past few days:
•
3.5 glasses of wine consumed per C/F passenger on a typical AA long-haul flight.
•
40% of passengers would be influenced by wine offerings in choosing their carrier.
•
$18.50 perceived wine cost per bottle in C/F.
•
$37.50 desired wine expenditure per bottle in C/F.
•
5 on a scale of 10 for wine selection rating.
Taking into account the percentage of passengers who do not drink, and those tiny little wine glasses, a strong argument can be made for spending about $10 more per passenger on wine in C/F.
