Can BD *G members access VS Clubhouse in LAX when flying VX ?

Can BD *G members access VS Clubhouse in LAX when flying VX First Class ?

Technically, VX website says you can access this lounge for a nominal fee when flying VX First Class.
Since BD *G can access the VS Clubhouse in LHR when flying VS, I was wondering if there was any chance to access the VS Clubhouse in LAX when flying VX First Class (and of course not pay the nominal fee).

Any experience?
