Maybe, but I was afraid that by booking two pax into S, the N2 inventory would also disappear (sometimes discount fare classes are linked), making it a tough sell.

I had considered booking one pax, then calling and asking to have the second added, but ended up just booking the second separate ticket as I was in a hurry and didn't want to risk someone else taking the seat in the interim.
