I need to open a new brokerage account. What I am thinking is to open an account with AmeriTrade and deposit 25k first, this will give me 20k Starwood points, and then transfer 10k to open a TD Warehouse account which will give me another 10K AA points.
My question is, how fast I could get my Starwood points from AmeriTrade? And do they allow me to transfer money out in about three four months after my account is opened? And some people posting that they have problem to get their TD Warehouse AA points, what is your experience with TD Warehouse?
