First of all, I know technically it's not gonna work, but I've read a lot of posts here saying that they actually got their hhonors number added before check-in either by calling the hotel directly or the toll free line.

I have two questions:
1. Will the rep in the 800 line/hotel be able to see where you made the reservation? I called the 800 number just now and played dumb until she asked me to verify where I made my reservation. I got the expected answer once the magic word "Priceline" was out.

2. When I got the confirmation of winning bid from PL, there were two numbers, one is the request number in the form of ***-***-***-**, the other is confirmation number (10 digits). Is the 10-digit number the confirmation number for Hilton or just PL? I tried to use the number to search my reservation on hilton.com, returned nothing.
