When you're working and get to your hotel in the evening, doing all this doesn't even leave you time to enjoy your stay, so what's the point? You need extra time to pack in the morning and extra time to check in and unpack in the evening. No, sorry. My time comes first, so I'd rather pay. Just my personal choice and the way I see it.
seems that you travel Heavy, most on FT I would venture to say try to travel with as little as possible and no checked bags if it can be helped. So taking a 21" rollerboard and another small bag isnt too much of a problem if switching is called for.

Now if I had my 21"er and 2 large checked bags I would probbaly (not 100%) also think like you and not want to play musical hotels. But whenever I travel like that its for 2 weeks and usually I stayed at a Marriott Hotel which doesnt have Stays but only Night Credits so it didnt matter to me.

Dont know if I could look myself in the mirror if I didnt play musical hotels.

Another great perk is Upgrading, no hotel wants to give away for free a Suite or Exec room for a week or even 3 days. When you play musical hotels , its a greater chance of getting that UP since they know its for 1 night only and most likely if they didnt sell it by the time youre checking in they wont sell it for that night. Yet they still can sell it for the next night and even 2 nights later. If they UPed you and you had a 3 night res they can kiss selling that room away.
