Vegetarian option not loaded in F - how should I expect BA to respond to complaint?

Flew to SFO yesterday in F (for the first time - very enjoyable, but not a huge step up from Club). Very disappointed when we were informed that the vegetarian menu that I had ordered for my girlfriend had not been loaded, especially as I had phoned the "You First" team a few days beforehand to confirm that menu selection and to ask that a note be added to our booking to avoid peppers if possible as Jane is allergic to them. Unfortunately that day's regular First menu did not include a vegetarian dish. Cabin crew were helpful in trying to put together suitable food during the flight, but no canapes, no afternoon sandwiches and the main course was an excessively salty bowl of pasta parcels which came from the First menu's snack dishes.

I am going to contact BA to express our disappointment at this, and ask that they ensure a vegetarian menu is loaded for our return flight from LAX in a couple of weeks. Should Jane expect some sort of compensation or gesture of goodwill from BA for this situation?
