me too - I'd rather they keep a high standard airline even if it means some tax money is going into it rather than having a commercial venture run it into the ground - but I guess if we had the likes of LH running it (unlikey as I guess it would have significant local ownership) they'd hopefully whip out all the dead weight and make a profit from it.

Slightly OT - Argentina is in the process of re-nationalising Aerolineas Argentinas - goes to show that nationalising the flag carrier in a developing country doesn't always work - but it's too important to allow to go bust (business/tourism etc.)

Oh my, you are right. But availability on Int C (i.e. I fares) seems a problem these days.
I fares on routes to GRU and PER seem to be totally non-existent - even as far out as you can book - they don't seem to release any seats at 330days out like other carriers seem to do. I can't work out when they appear (if at all).
