Just a thought, but you may want to try coupon connection, to trade (what I would consider to be) a valuable stash of SQ miles for something you can use a bit in the future. Blowing SQ miles on domestic US tix might be a waste... This bucket of miles would allow an unrestricted business award EU-Asia (meaning A380) and with a mileage purchase ($500) would allow US to Asia for that same award.
