I'm sure she was trying to deflect my all too obvious ire from herself, but somewhere along the line BA staff need to take the can for other BA staff pulling strings.... It doesn't worry me that much being lied to, I work in finance so it happens all the time... As you say I'm fairly sure the check in agent would just have been trying to deflect the blame from herself, without knowing what the rules are for people in wheelchairs sitting in emergency aisle seats I didn't want to make a fuss. Knowing my luck if I had I'd probably end up in some sort of discrimination case!
