switzerland does not stamp passports exiting; entering by train (particularly at basle) about half the time they will stamp your pp. [the last time i exited (by plane) they only looked at the cover of my pp--they did not open it.]
entering france they usually (but not always ) will stamp pp; rarely on exiting.
several times when entering the usa, they have NOT stamped my pp.
