For First, you can totally bypass the airport by using the Jet Centre at BGI. Small but comfortable lounge, mix of snacks and they'll bring you sandwiches before your return flight. You go thru departure formalities in the jet centre, and are taken by mini-van right to the aircraft. It is the closest thing you can get flying BA to LH's FCT in FRA.
