So true - whilst I honestly think that it is unfair in one sense as so much can happen outside the airlline's control once you are in the hands of weather and ATC. Head winds can completely throw a schedule and there really is little that can be done about that. Howver, as any BA crew member will be certain to agree - whe we land early or punctually and then sit around waiting for a gate/stand/steps/bus my blood pressure can go through the roof - and it is always someone else's fault.

That is quite inexcusable.
