Surely not.

I was on QF from MEL-CBR recently and someone got moved for not having sufficient English! I didn't care - shifted across to F and had no one in E.

Also while trying to blag the exit seats on the upperdeck of a UA flight from LAX-SYD the ex-Mrs robbo unwisely chipped in with "oh and he's got a bad back and needs the extra space". That was the end of that.
