I mostly fly short hops between cities in Ohio and Chicago. For the first time ever, I'll be only 4 segments short of reaching 1P. Given my flying pattern, though, would it really make sense to do a segment run to reach 1P, especially since UA may decide to take US's lead on eliminating the elite bonus?
I did that last year by paying 140 dollars for the Chase Plat Visa. I think it's worth it. RDM bonus and upgrade priority over 2P are most meaningful to me.
