I would like to thank you for the Comment Form which was on my desk this morning. Please rest assured that your remarks are taken seriously and much appreciated.

InterContinental took over the management of this hotel just over a year and a half ago and we are currently in the middle of planning a complex renovation programme with the new Swiss major shareholder. This is estimated to cost around Euros 28M, so you can see that we are fully aware of the fact that a renovation programme is required. This will involve complete renewal of all lifts, gutting and reconfiguration of the 21st floor and the lobby, restaurants, bar and kitchen, lots of back of house work and the introduction of 100 new rooms which are currently out of service on Floors 4 to 7 inclusive, as well as many other priorities. We anticipate starting in early 2009.

The new Club Lounge will be newly created on the 21st floor and will cover nearly 400 sqm. It will be sensational. The present one is temporary and we are reviewing improvements there.
