Talking Yes!

As someone who is compliant, polite, etc. almost to a fault, I for one would love to see some of my favorite FAs getting all Terry Tate on anyone who deserves it.

I support or endorse:
  • Tackling and zip-tying of anyone who's actually belligerent or a hazard - which hardly anyone is.
  • Tackling and zip-tying of those who stand between landing and gate stop - seen more overseas.
  • Mobiles used after the door is closed, taken and placed in the cellphone disposal units in the lavs.
  • Excessive cabin bags (and their owners) gate-checked, fore-checked, or cross-checked.
I really don't have much trouble with seatbacks and tray tables, and I can think of one time in domestic F (forget when, where, or what carrier) that I was awakened by the bump of landing, and realized that my seat was reclined and the FA's had just let me sleep... which I'm sure I was thankful for at the time. Oh, and if I need, or my kid needs, the lav during climbout or descent, I ask.
