Thanks for the tip on Willow View and cheese shops, DtC. I love good cheese.

We cruised through the BC Farm Fresh site but obviously didn't read close enough. Today, we did a drive and ended up picking up a dozen from L & B Ranch stand in Abbotsford. They indicated that we could in theory pick our own corn but we'd have to do it when they do their harvest for the stand at 5am.

Oddly (or maybe not) they were selling it for $7 for a dozen while we were able to pick up 4 for $2 a Kin's Food Market. Driediger, which doesn't really specialize in corn, was selling corn for 75 cents a cob (though they didn't have any).
The Sparkes Corn barn in Abbotsford was closed on Sunday and we were too lazy to head out to Chilliwack today. Also, we prefer the Jubilee variety but there's none of that until next week. Have to settle for peaches and creme for now.
