I agree with the other posters that a business seat in a three class is much more comfortable than a first class seat on a two class airplane. However, the food should be a little better in first.

I would vote for row 9 rather than 8 because I don't like people behind me. It's true that FA's put their luggage behind row 9. Also, you hear more noise from the galley from row 9. Also, the windows are better in row 8. But I don't like the bulkhead walls in row 8. It makes me feel a little claustrophobic.
