They switched me from C+ to Domestic F - am I better off?

We were on a 763 in C+ (IAD SFO) and they cancelled the flight and put us in F on a 320. We used 40,000 miles for C seats so technically we're ahead as F is 50,000. But I'm not sure the seats are as good and I don't know about service comparison. I welcome your thoughts. We have 3 ABC by the way on the 320.

Also, on the return, we got changed from a 763 to a 777. It appears on seatguru.com that row 8 is good on the B version but not on the A version. We're in 8 DEF so I'm hoping for the B type, though it appears IAD usually has the A. I assume the 777 C version is only for long trans oceanic so it wouldn't ever be at IAD, correct?
