Maybe someone could clarify this, but when I hear that there is a charge for water, it's confusing. In previous posts (company memos), it was my understanding that they would have bottles (12 oz) of water on the drink cart, and those would be $2, but if a passenger just asks for a cup of water, that is free. Am I wrong?

In any case, I'm planning on flying next week and bringing a big cup from home, and just asking for it to be filled with ice, and see what kind of response I get. I will just suck on the ice and be happy.
