IMHO, if so, wait 'til next year.
I remember (was it that long ago?) when the brokers in L.A. and the press were full of tales about how the housing prices would never go down and zillions of dumb foreigners were coming along to bid up prices even more (wondering where they are--maybe they went to Mid-Town Manhattan?).
