I have stayed at the Manchester Grand Hyatt before and it is very nice. The thing is that I will be spending one night and really only need the hotel to sleep and as a jumping off point for an evening in the Gaslamp area. I also hate to waste that many Hyatt or SPG points (enough for a night in Hawaii) on a few hours in San Diego.
