how stupid is that fly into Heathrow, take the hike into London which is hardly close in a due East direction then take an even bigger hike to Gatwick, due South to fly to Glasgow. I reckon the time you will waste travelling from LHR to the city then onto LGW will be about the same time it takes to fly from LHR to the northern tip of Africa.
