Hi,

2 weeks ago I purchased a flight for December with Air China. My ticket has been confirmed, I noticed my bank has authorized the amount 2 weeks ago, but until now, the funds have not been taken out of my credit card yet. The authorized amount has already been dropped and is shown as available credit.

Today, I found some better deals with Qatar, and also with a more preferred date.

I was wondering, could I call Air China to actually ask them not to take the money from my account, and cancel the ticket that I have with them?

Will be really grateful if there's any advice on this matter. Thanks!
