1. This promotion is only open to Eligible Participants. An Eligible Participant is an Executive Club member resident in the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over who is invited by British Airways to take part in the promotion and registers in accordance with clause 2 below. British Airways reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Eligible Participants. By taking part in this promotion, Eligible Participants confirm that they accept the terms and conditions set out below.
2. To participate in this promotion, Eligible Participants must register their details through the link set out in their invitation email, or where an email has not been received at www.ba.com/punctualitypromise and then book and complete travel on a Qualifying Flight between 30 July 2008 and 2 September 2008 (the “Promise Period”). Eligible Participants that have already booked to travel during this period must register their details in order to qualify for this promotion. After registration a “thank you” message will be displayed to the Eligible Participants to confirm that their registration has been successful.
3. A Qualifying Flight is a fully flexible or semi flexible published or net corporate fare in Domestic, Euro Traveller or Club Europe in any of the booking classes J, C, D, Y, B and H scheduled to depart from London Heathrow Terminal 5, which is purchased and ticketed in the United Kingdom. To be sure of purchasing a Qualifying Flight on ba.com please select “Flexible conditions” as your ticket type.
4. Subject to clause 5, in the event that a Qualifying Flight is delayed in its departure by more than 15 minutes of the scheduled departure flight time, an email will be sent to the registered address of all Eligible Participants who have boarded the flight notifying them that 5,000 bonus BA Miles will be credited to their Executive Club account.
5. British Airways reserves the right to exclude at its discretion any flights where disruption occurs beyond the reasonable control of British Airways. Non–exhaustive examples include severe weather conditions and their ongoing or consequent effects, air traffic control delays and industrial action.
6. The promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or deal, including but not limited to: (i) redemption bookings; (ii) travel agent or industry discounted fares (including agency, industry, employee discounts), inclusive holidays, group discount fares, child/infant fares or senior citizen fares, whether or not booked in one of the qualifying classes (iii) bookings made with vouchers (e.g. shareholder’s discount voucher), or (iv) upgrades.
7. There is no restriction on the number of times an Eligible Participant may benefit from this promotion during the Promise Period.
8. BA Miles due under this promotion will be credited to an Eligible Participant’s Executive Club account by 12 September 2008. All BA Miles are issued subject to the Executive Club membership terms and conditions. BA Miles are not transferable and no cash or credit alternatives are offered.
9. British Airways reserves the right to cancel or amend without notice the terms of this promotion in the event of major catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, earthquake or any actual anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of British Airways due to flight disruptions.
