I just love some of the GA's. They can be real good with being straight and others....hmmm.....not so good....
I remember a couple of months ago, I was flying ORD-DEN B-777 and my girlfriend was going to fly with me. She called the travel desk (at SkyWest) to check the load in C and also the number of NRSA's on the list. This was done 2 minutes before talking to the GA.
C was booked to 20 (or so) out of 49 and she was number 13 on the list with still 6 F seats left, so she would have been 7 or so for C.
So, I walk up to the counter and said to the agent, Hi, I am Bongo and sitting in row 8 aisle. My girlfriend is checked in and on the list. If it looks good for her to get in C, can you swing it where we can get seats together instead of asking people to move around on the plane?
She responded in a nasty tone, "well, we are going to be full in C and she is 30 on the list so she will not end up in C."

She didn't even ask for my BP or nothing, just her ID to she "where she was on the list"
I said ok...here is my BP well in case something does happen, where it right work out. After seeing my BP, her toned changed quickly.
Needless to say, we got seats together in 15A and B and the flight went out with 10 seats open in C...go figure.....
The lesson:
These GA's need to realize that some PAX know just as much (if not more) about the conditions of a flight etc. than they do.
I will say on a final note about 75% on the time, the GA's are good about getting us together (without attitude, etc.) when it is possible usually happening on the B-767's, and B-777's.
