Huh! He's never been to Surbiton in his life - he would never got past the city limits. They usually run vagabonds and panhandlers out to allow us to shop in peace!
I have never worm fur in my life. I will never wear it on principle.
As to my knickers - the one time that he did get near me (it is believed that he hitched a ride with the dustmen) was to steal two pairs of mine from the washing line. They were finest quality and so
WITHOUT PREJUDICE
I want them
BACK - RIGHT NOW! We all know that you are back in Britain. They are too small even for you and what you would do with a G-string is more than a young lady should have in her mind! (If you have left them you can send £160 to replace them - the Euro has gone up a lot since last year).
Now - back to the thread.
To my mind - and this is practically heresy. These kits have gone from being a rather prestigeous offering which had rather lovely things and decent make-up to a load of old tat that the various companies could not give away. These are usually handed out in the sort of bag or pouch to which frankly I would not give house room- let alone cupboard space. I thought that those Brown Bags were exactly that. They looked cheap, tacky, and overall managed to convery the sort of chic that only a recycled sackcloth that the convents of Britain discraded years ago.
I am absolutely certain that if you put really high grade brands - Dior, Givenchy, Payot as opposed to the sort of stuff that looks like a consignment that B&Q bought from Maybelline - then maybe people would want the things. The toothbrushes years ago was from people like OralB - now they are Made In China. People used to keep them as opposed to wondering what unspeakable substance had just been let lose in your mouth. The same with the toothpaste. Modesty precludes me from saying what I think some of them taste like.
AA had the clever idea of putting these in a bag that you could put your shoes in. Quite cheap and very effective.
As for the idea of taking round cheap ghastly little razors and tubes of face gel in a dainty little basket as though you were presenting an after dinner chocolate is simply cheap and nasty to me. If you are going to do it - do it well. If you are going to make them so cheap that a Travelodge would do better - then jack the whole thing in. I am sure that Product Placement with samplers of reallly lovely things would be a bonus for the suppliers, the airline, and the passenger.
