Seems to happen everywhere... and for reasons I just don't understand...

Flew ICN-SFO on SQ recently (in their new C for the first time.. Yum!) .. and WELL before boarding - I mean 15-20 minutes at least - there was a guy (late 50's, suit, briefcase) standing next to the First/Biz sign at the gate...

He turned out to be one of about 4 (?) in F on the flight....

What was THAT about?
