I'm flying on an award ticket from EWR to St Louis and back into LaGuardia. I'd like to change the outbound airport from EWR to LaGuardia. The fare rules say that "THE CITY PAIRS BELOW ARE CONSIDERED THE SAME POINT" and Newark and LaGuardia are considered the same point.
But when I spoke with res, they said it would be $150. I noted that EWR/LGA were co-terminals, but they said, "but this is different." Uh.
Does anyone know if I can change from EWR to LGA without a change fee?

Interesting link at the end of the sig, don't know if that type of thing is against the rules though.
I like the OpenSkies article about them dropping the standard econ product.
If it says they are the same in the fare rule for the award "fare", then I would expect a better explanation than "but this is different"
